since 2006Balter GmbH develops systems for video door communication, access control and security technology. Since 2006 we have combined technical experience with a clear standard for design.
What began as video surveillance and security technology became a product range of its own early on. The Balter brand was created in 2008, and with it the focus on door communication.
Our systems are installed in single-family homes, apartment buildings and residential and commercial properties. We treat door communication not as a single device but as a system.
Almost two decades of experience in security technology, product development and project work is the basis for that.

Development and technology
Technical competence has been part of Balter from the start.
In its first years the company worked closely on professional video surveillance, together with international technology brands such as Samsung, Sony, Hikvision and Avigilon. Product lines of its own grew alongside that, and with them experience in development and manufacturing.
Since the Balter brand was introduced the emphasis has been on video door intercoms and connected systems for building access.
Our aim is to develop complex technology so that it stays as simple as possible for installers, planners and the people who use it.
